Ha finalizado el rodaje del segundo largometraje dirigido por Hèctor H. Vicens (El cadáver de Anna Fritz), «Beach House», que se ha desarrollado en Mallorca (en concreto, en Magaluf) y en Cataluña. Entre los atractivos del film destaca su reparto compuesto por Albert Carbó (Didi Hollywood; La pecera de Eva; El cadáver de Anna Fritz), Francesc Colomer (Pa negre; Vivir es fácil con los ojos cerrados), Martí Atance (El payaso y el Führer; Merli: Sapere Aude), Nina Guseva (Better than us) y Tony Corvillo (El Príncipe).
Según su director, «hace tiempo que quería hacer una película en catalán para un público joven, que es un género que apenas existe en nuestro país». Beach House«trata temas como la falta de valor que se le da a la intimidad en las redes sociales y la falsa felicidad que se vende en ellas, en las que todo el mundo parece vivir dentro de un anuncio publicitario. También trata sobre la destrucción de la costa del Mediterráneo, con un modelo de negocio enfocado al turismo de borrachera, que ha convertido muchas de nuestras localidades en auténticos centros de ocio para hooligans descerebrados. Sin embargo, la película no pretende aleccionar a nadie, sino dar libertad a los personajes protagonistas para que tejan su propia historia».
Por su parte, el productor de la película y cineasta Carles Torras añade que lo que más le impresiona de Héctor es «su habilidad y atrevimiento para mezclar géneros. La película empieza como una comedia gamberra, se transforma en un ‘thriller’ con una alta carga de tensión y termina como un film de autor existencialista. Lo combina todo con gran frescura y sin salirse de tono en ningún momento».
Beach House es una producción de Zabriskie Films y Visualsuspects en coproducción con IB3 y con la producción asociada de Silendum Films y la colaboración de La Charito Films. Además, sus productoras han contado con la participación de Televisió de Catalunya y el apoyo del Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics.
Sinopsis
Xavi pasa el verano de su vida en Mallorca con dos de sus mejores amigos, Isaac y Manu. Una vez allí, un viaje que prometía fiesta y diversión, se acaba convirtiendo en su peor pesadilla cuando se enamora de Natasha, una turista que resulta ser la novia de un mafioso ruso.

After a few intense days we finished the tour around Galicia of this adaptation of Shakespeare's play: "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The play was entirely in English and was focused on a school audience. On this occasion I played two different characters; Hippolyta and Helena.

CLOSER
I had the marvelous opportunity to go back to the Czech Republic (Domoušice), during a week-end to bring to life the character of Amélie in the short film Closer, directed by Christian Groves and by the hand of Simona Šimkova. The short film was screened at the cinema Kino Evald, in Prague.
TRIPLE PREMIERE OLALON
More than three hundred people attended the Olalon's triple premiere last weekend at JCA cinemas in Valls.
The film production company presented three of their projects: Oda a los Aliños, Desfer el Camí and Miedo a las Palabras, where I had the chance to work some months ago.
